This replica of a WWI French tank is built using steel 1/4-1/2 steel plate with tracks and final drive coming from a 1930’s allis chalmers tractor. It features a fully rotating turret with a blank firing cannon. 90% complete. Powered by a gas f134 4 cylinder engine with a manual transmission. Runs and drives but has some electrical and mechanical work to complete. Interior is partially complete. FT17 tank is considered the world’s first modern tank as it was the first design to have its armament in a fully rotating turret. They were used in great numbers by the French and American forces in WW1. They saw extended use through out WWII as well being used by the Germans and French. Currently it is painted in captured German color and Insignia.
